If you have family with 2 children and 1 dog or cat, make long journey is not comfortable with regular sedan, you will need wide interior car. What about if grand father or grand mother join ? you have to bring 2 cars. With minivan, you can bring all with only one car. What about if you have 3 child, minivan is a must compare with sedan.
Minivan also has some benefit if you have specific hobby like ride. You can put your bicycle at the back door and still enough space for rest of family. Minivan is truly family vehicle.
Why Hybrid
One of the reason family avoid minivans is fuel consumption. Minivan has to have high torsion and power, so fuel consumption usually become higher. Hybrid technology combines gasoline engine and electric motor, so the energy becomes very efficient. How come ? gasoline engine used for acceleration only, when deceleration power charge the hybrid battery and hybrid battery used for normal speed. The combination produces less fuel consumption and good emission for environment. That’s why Hybrid Minivan now become one of favorite cars
The Choice
Unfortunately, not all car manufacturer produce Hybrid Minivan yet. Toyota comes with Toyota Sienna hybrid and Toyota Estima Hybrid. Some Environmental groups insist government and car manufacturer to produce and provide more hybrid car because it’s very efficient, environmental friendly, and smooth driving. Now it’s time for Hybrid Minivan replace Big SUV with high fuel consumption, isn’t it?
